Our finescale chassis kit for the Bachmann LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 consists of fold-up etches to convert the locomotive and tender with a fully sprung chassis to either EM or P4 gauge .

The kit includes replacement brake gear, cylinders, motion and prototypically jointed coupling rods. Both early and late patterns of pony truck and guard irons are included. The tender has a fold-up sprung frame with replacement brake blocks and hangers.

For the locomotive, the kit includes our own ⅛” brass bearings running in fold-up frames and keeper plate with new guard irons.

The new pony truck which is available separately is suitable for the Iavtt Class 4 2-6-0 and the Ivatt 2-6-2T and the BR equivalent engines. Price £10 (Ref A125).

The choice of wheels is Alan Gibson 5'0" 15-spoke (Ref 4860), 3'0" 9-spoke (Ref 4836ST) and 3’6” 10-spoke for the tender (ref 4842ST) - or the Markits equivalent EM wheels. It is designed for use with wheels having ⅛” diameter axles. Please ensure this is made known to your wheels supplier, as replacement wheel packs may have a different size axle.
