The EasiChas for the MR
1F 0-6-0T consists of fold-up
etches to convert the locomotive to either EM or P4 including new
buffer beam brackets front and rear supporting the sandboxes, replacement
coupling rods, brake blocks and hangers, brake pull rods and brake shaft,
and bunker coal rails. The EasiChas kit costs £40 (ref B231). Click to Download the instructions. We have a full online guide for this kit with detailed photographs of the model and prototype. (this is equivalent to the CD supplied with the earlier EasiChas kits). The splashers fitted to the Bachmann body are over-scale to accommodate 00 wheel flanges. For those modelling in P4, we can supply a set of reduced size splashers (ref B130 price £5). The coupling rods (ref C104 price £5) are also available separately, as are replacement coal rails (ref B131 price £2.50). The Easichas is designed around wheels with 3mm diameter axles and retains the Bachmann gearwheel. |
