We then decided to take advantage of the advances in 3D printing technology to produce really fine detail components instead of the traditional lost wax and whitemetal castings. We asked our colleague David Barham to push the technology as far as possible and even he has been surprised by how far we could take this. The backhead has an incredible level of detail and David has even managed to add in the pipework on the ejector and injectors. |
